We are happy to welcome Vanja Bosnjak. During the next six months, she will complete a traineeship in the field of European education.
Vanja completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy, at the University of Lucerne. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in European Studies at Lund University in Sweden, with a focus on European governance, institutional decision-making, and the dynamics of European integration.
Holding both Swiss and Croatian citizenship, Vanja grew up with a close-up view of how EU decisions play out differently depending on which side of the relationship a country is on, sparking an early curiosity in European cooperation. This interest deepened through studying at universities in two different European countries, Switzerland and Sweden, each with its own approach to European affairs and its own place within the European project.
During her six-month traineeship, Vanja will focus on Swiss-EU cooperation in education policy, support the annual Education Seminar, and broadly assist Sandra Gillner Zahed, SwissCore’s European Advisor for Education.
