SwissCore Annual Event 2022 – Together for our energy future

On 28 June 2022, SwissCore organised its Annual Event titled ‘Together for our energy future – The role of research, innovation and education in sustainable energy production & efficiency’.
Creating a sustainable energy production – and better energy efficiency – is both, a great challenge and an important opportunity. Both, Switzerland and the EU plan to phase out their greenhouse gas emissions in order to reach carbon-neutrality by 2050 – while gradually transition to sustainable energy production and better efficiency. Research, innovation and education already now play a crucial part in this generational endeavor.
The 2022 SwissCore Annual Event provided a platform to discuss the role of research, innovation and education for a carbon-neutral Europe and sustainable energy production and efficiency. It also showcased how Switzerland and the EU leverage their win-win collaboration in research, innovation and education in order to reach these goals together.
