Welcome to Dragica Vrhovac, our new trainee for education

From 1 March to 30 April, Dragica Vrhovac will do a traineeship at SwissCore in the field of education.

Dragica is completing a part-time Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education and Training at the SFUVET (Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training in Zollikofen). She previously completed the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Adult and Professional Education at the PH Luzern. She dedicated her Master’s thesis to learning in the world of work in 2030. Dragica is the head of the Academy at Sky-Frame AG.

Since the beginning of her professional career, Dragica has been involved in the diverse education and further training landscape and has attended many seminars in the fields of sales, marketing, information technology, and other specialist areas. In doing so, she has intensively studied the success factors in the development of human and organisational resources and specialised in vocational and adult education. In addition to her profession and studies, she is an instructor in basic vocational training, acts as an examination expert, teaches as a lecturer in higher vocational training, and takes federal examinations in German and French.

Through her involvement in the 5-year revision of the education plans for 12 professions (solar installer, roofer, sealer, scaffolder, façade builder, and assembler for sun protection, with a Federal Vocational Certificate and Federal Certificate of Proficiency), Dragica is very familiar with the meso level in terms of specific framework conditions and influencing factors. Furthermore, she has in-depth experience in the conception and realisation of new education topics, in education marketing as well as in the examination and adaptation of existing offers (higher vocational education and vocational education and training).

During her time at SwissCore, she will support the European Advisor for Education in the day-to-day business and additionally focus on the project “European Year of Skills 2023”.
