It is a pleasure to announce that Sandra Gillner will join SwissCore on 2 September. She will cover the European education policies and programmes.
Prior to being appointed European Advisor for Education at SwissCore, Sandra Gillner completed her PhD in Public Management at the University of Bern. During the past three years, she has held the position of research associate at the KPM Center for Public Management and the Swiss Institute of Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine. Within this function, she managed Swiss and European research projects at the intersection of education, innovation & research.
In 2023, Sandra served as Visiting Fellow at the Harvard-MIT Center for Regulatory Science in Boston.
Sandra further holds a Master of European Political and Governance Studies from the Collège d’Europe and a Master of International Administration from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. She previously completed traineeships at a regional representation to the EU in Brussels and the OECD’s Executive Directorate in Paris.
Sandra is excited to take on her new role as European Advisor for Education at SwissCore and to strengthen Swiss-EU collaboration in the education domain.
