It is a pleasure to announce that Fabienne joined SwissCore on 16 December. She will cover the European research policies and programmes.
Fabienne will replace Sarah Bühler during her maternity leave and will take up her new role of European Advisor for Research until the end of June 2025.
Fabienne Forster holds a Master’s degree in History and Philosophy of Knowledge from ETH Zurich, where she also recently submitted her doctoral dissertation in philosophy. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she completed a traineeship at the academic publishing company Schwabe Verlag. She has worked for the Swiss Space Office at the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI/SSO), where she assisted the Swiss Co-Presidency of the European Space Agency at Ministerial level. Additionally, she served as an administrative assistant in the management office of SystemsX.ch, the Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology.
