SwissCore invited Swiss stakeholders in Research and Innovation to Brussels for a three-day workshop on the European framework programmes.
This year’s Research and Innovation Seminar, organised by SwissCore in Brussels, allowed Swiss stakeholders to engage with European partners concerned with Research and Innovation. The contents of the Seminar focused on operational issues about Horizon 2020 and discussed the successor programme Horizon Europe. Inputs came from the Swiss and the European perspective, represented by the European Commission and the European Parliament. The discussions focused on the ongoing inter-institutional negotiations and the strategic planning process. The Swiss Mission to the European Union hosted a reception, which was a great opportunity to reconnect with acquaintances and to network with new people. Approximately 100 participants attended this very fruitful seminar and SwissCore enjoyed having them in Brussels.
The SwissCore team is already looking forward to the Education Seminar in November 2019 as well as next year’s Research and Innovation Seminar.
