Future Head of Office for SwissCore selected

It is a pleasure to announce that Laurin Reding will succeed Simon Marti at the helm of SwissCore in July 2024.

Simon Marti’s term as Head of Office of SwissCore will come to an end in June 2024. Laurin Reding will officially step into the new role on 1 July 2024.

Laurin is already a familiar face at SwissCore as he currently works as Senior European Advisor for Education and Deputy Head of Office. He knows the EU context in Brussels and SwissCore very well and looks forward to supporting the Swiss education, research and innovation community in their engagement with the EU.

Previously, Laurin worked for the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs in London and New York and for Movetia, the Swiss National Agency for Exchange and Mobility. He studied international relations, history and economics in Geneva and London as well as Arabic in the Middle East.

Laurin is very much looking forward to continue working with the dedicated SwissCore team in the new role.
