On 2 February, we welcome Haren Cha who will start a six-month traineeship in the field of research policy and programmes.
Haren graduated from the University of Geneva with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Management and Policy at the University of Lausanne with a specialisation in Transformation and Innovation in the public sector. Through her academic journey, she shaped her curiosity and interest in public policy, international relations, European governance and technological innovation.
Being from a multicultural background and through her semester abroad in South Korea, Haren broadened her horizons and perspectives. Her personal experiences and studies allowed her to gain an interdisciplinary and intercultural mindset, which she is eager to further develop at SwissCore.
During this half year traineeship, Haren will and focus on AI in Research Funding and assist Sarah Bühler, SwissCore’s European Advisor for Research
