A Swiss Science Briefing on ‘Agroecological approaches in times of fertiliser crisis – Evidence from Swiss-EU collaboration in the Global South’
The event, organised together with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) and The Mission of Switzerland to the EU, aims to discuss how Swiss-European scientific research and development activities contribute to the resilient food systems in Africa, India, and Bolivia in the context of climate change and over-exploitation of planetary resources threatening the stability of the global food systems.
In the context of the 50th anniversary of FiBL, a differentiated approach to sustainable research for organic culture will be presented by Beate Huber, Director of Corporate Culture and Head of Department of International Cooperation at FiBL, followed by a speech of Prof. Johanna Jacobi at ETH Zurich. Afterwards, you can enjoy a panel discussion with members of the European Commission and other representatives.
