On 1 September, Julia Gubler will start a student traineeship at SwissCore for a period of six months.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Geneva, an interdisciplinary degree with equal parts Economics, Political Science, History and Law.
Having worked as a research assistant for the Swiss National Competence Centre for Research “NCCR on the move”, Julia is familiar with the Swiss science system and with the domain of research, which she will cover during her traineeship at SwissCore. In addition to operational support to the office’s activities, such as news screening, article writing and assisting in the organisation of events and visits, Julia will also work on a dedicated research project covering digital policy and synergies with Horizon Europe, and learn about European policies, programmes and institutions in research, education and innovation.
