With pleasure, we annouce that Rahel Gruber will join SwissCore on 1 September as our new European Advisor for Education.
During the past two years, Rahel worked as Deputy CEO/Head of Operations at swissnex China in Shanghai, bridging Switzerland and China in education, research and innovation. Formerly engaged at the Beijing office of the Swiss Business Hub China at the Embassy of Switzerland in China, Rahel deeply enjoys connecting people and their ideas in a highly international and dynamic environment. She obtained her interdisciplinary master’s degree in Asian studies from the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of Geneva after completing her undergraduate studies in sinology at the University of Zurich. Having supported Swiss education, research and innovation stakeholders at swissnex until this spring, she looks very much forward to her new role as European Advisor for Education at SwissCore, aiming to foster sustainable knowledge exchanges between Switzerland and the EU.
Rahel Gruber is replacing Julia Grünenfelder, who will return to Switzerland this coming July, after more than four years with SwissCore (see SwissCore article).
The SwissCore team is very much looking forward to welcome Rahel in Brussels later this summer.
