How can Europe lead the next technological revolution?

New digital technologies play an important role in the future European strategy, and mobilising innovation in key digital technologies is essential. What are the current challenges faced by Europe’s innovation ecosystems in the context of the increased competition at global level? What is the role of national innovation funding agencies in contributing to a coherent and ambitious European strategy? And how can Europe make best use of its vast scientific research capabilities to tackle the global challenges of our time and the emerging industrial challenges of the future?

Our annual event provided a platform to discuss these questions with leading research and innovation experts and decision-makers from Switzerland and Europe. Speakers were:
