We are located in the heart of the Brussels European quarter, only a few steps away from the European Parliament, the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission as well as from the Mission of Switzerland to the European Union.
How to find us
By train
We are a five minutes walk from the station Bruxelles Luxembourg. If you are coming from Zaventem Airport (Brussels national airport) by train, please change at Bruxelles Nord to take the train to Bruxelles Luxembourg (direction Ottignies, Namur). If you are coming from Switzerland by train via Strasbourg and Luxembourg, please get off at Bruxelles Luxembourg. Please also check the timetable for the Belgian railways.
By metro
The nearest metro station is Trône (with metroline 2 and 6), just a five minutes down the Rue du Trône to number 98. If you come from Bruxelles Midi (Thalys, ICE and Eurostar), please take metros 2 or 6 in the direction of Elisabeth and exit at Trône.
By bus
The nearest bus stop are at Place du Luxembourg and Gare Bruxelles-Luxembourg. From the Brussels Central Station, please take bus 38. Coming from Zaventem Airport (Brussels national airport), please take the Brussels Airport Line (Express 12). It takes about 35 minutes to Place du Luxembourg and is often quicker than a taxi during rush hours. Please also check the timetable for the Brussels public transport.
By car
As we are located in the centre of Brussels, we do not recommend to travel by car. We do offer however parking space for the use of our visitors. If you need a parking space, please call us at +32 2 549 09 80 or send an email.
By taxi
Taxis from Zaventem Airport (Brussels national airport) take from 20 to 60 minutes. Make sure to use an official taxi service only, i.e. either Taxis verts – +32 (0)2 349 49 49 – or Taxis bleus – +32 (0)2 268 00 00 – within Brussels or Zaventem airport taxis at Zaventem Airport.
