DESCRIPTION:On 28 June 2022\, SwissCore organised its Annual Event titled ‘Together for our energy future – The role of research\, innovation and education in sustainable energy production & efficiency’.  \n\n\n\nCreating a sustainable energy production – and better energy efficiency – is both\, a great challenge and an important opportunity. Both\, Switzerland and the EU plan to phase out their greenhouse gas emissions in order to reach carbon-neutrality by 2050 – while gradually transition to sustainable energy production and better efficiency. Research\, innovation and education already now play a crucial part in this generational endeavor. \n\n\n\nThe 2022 SwissCore Annual Event provided a platform to discuss the role of research\, innovation and education for a carbon-neutral Europe and sustainable energy production and efficiency.
