DESCRIPTION:Maxime Schoch presented her research project on R&I contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals. \n\n\n\nThe presentation on the research project ‘Implementing the Agenda 2030 – How can Research and Innovation contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals?’ focused on the following aspects: \n\n\n\nWhat action has the European Union taken on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) so far?How are the SDGs covered in the new framework programme for research and innovation (R&I)\, Horizon Europe?\n\n\n\nIn addition\, Thomas Arnold\, the Adviser for SDGs at the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD)\, gave an input on how the SDGs played a role in shaping the new organisation of DG RTD. \n\n\n\nFor her research\, Maxime Schoch conducted a thorough document analysis and several interviews with European Commission officials and European R&I stakeholders. \n\n\n\nEvent presentation: here \n\n\n\nTraineeship report: here
