DESCRIPTION:This event was organised by the Mission of Switzerland to the European Union\, the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences and SwissCore.  \n\n\n\nGlobal biodiversity loss and degradation of ecosystems continue at an alarming speed despite ongoing counter-efforts on the national\, European and international levels. This Science Briefing focused on biodiversity monitoring activities\, and it assessed where future activities are needed.
