Traineeship from 01 April to 30 September 2014.
At the start of her traineeship, Sarah Ott had a Master of Arts in Political Science, Comparative and Swiss Politics of the University of Bern. She worked as well as Scientific Assistant at the Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau. During her traineeship she worked in the field of innovation. Her traineeship was divided between the Research Council of Norway and SwissCore to ensure a smooth transition of the EUREKA Chairmanship from Norway to Switzerland. Her main responsibilities included supporting the EUREKA Working Groups, drafting factsheet on innovation funding instruments and providing an overview of the role of EUREKA in the European Research Area. She also spent a significant amount of time in providing operational support in the field of innovation.
