Every year SwissCore organises a two days seminar for the members of the Swiss Information Network on European Research Programmes.

The aim of the seminar is to inform them on the latest developments and future trends in EU research policy as well as provide them with an opportunity to be in contact with officials from the EU institutions. The seminar also deals in detail with practical issues concerning proposal preparation and project management.

SwissCore organises twice a year an informal get together for Swiss newcomers in Brussels (Commission students and administrative stagiaires, officials in international organisations,...).
The apéros take place in April and November.
The apéro is preceeded by a brief presentation on SwissCore and Swiss involvement in EU research and education policy.
Speakers usually include the scientific attaché of the Swiss Mission to the EU.
